I lived and taught English in Chiayi, Taiwan June 2018-July 2019. Most of my days were spent tricking kids into learning English but I used the rest of my time learning Chinese (again), crossing books off my reading list, fermenting greens and fruits, and exploring this side of the world. These are small glimpses of my life here. After a year, I went to Hokkaido, Japan and spent 5 weeks WWOOFing on 3 different farms. It was a (mostly) relaxing and beautiful way to see Japan and learn about the agriculture there.
